Medical Examinations
Measurements - Checks
Ophthalmological examinations are performed for adults and children, such as
measurement of visual acuity - refraction test and skiascopy for the diagnosis of
refractive abnormalities (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia).
Prescription for glasses or medication is carried out, depending on the needs of each patient.
Anterior ophthalmoscopy, tonometry ,gonioscopy and fundoscopy (with diagnostic lenses and Goldmann 3-Mirror lens) are performed.
Visual Testing
Visual testing is performed such as colour perception testing with Ishihara plates and stereoscopic vision testing for depth perception
In addition, the examination of the ocular surface is carried out with Schirmer test and BUT (Break-Up-Time) test for the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of vision.
In our clinic we offer the possibility of checking the drainage of the lacrimal apparatus as well as the diagnosis and treatment of blepharitis.
